Some thoughts to Notebook BatteryInfo Smartbar and Windows 11
There was a plan to create a Notebook BatteryInfo Smartbar version for Windows 11 that places some battery information on the Taskbar. But since Microsoft skipped the IDeskband Interface it would be never a good solution. There would be always adjustments needed after each new annual release. Now with Windows 11 24H2 / 25H2 the Preview Update KB5067036 (OS Builds 26100.7019 and 26200.7019) has a better battery symbol in the Taskbar, and the additional option to show the battery state as a percent value.
I am happy with this Microsoft solution so far. That solution took only 25 years starting with Windows 2000. Therefore I will not invest any time for a not really needed piece of Software. At this moment there will be no Notebook BatteryInfo Smartbar version for Windows 11.
