The application Shortcut Control Bar (SCB) is intended to give a fast access to applications and documents since each button in SCB represents an application or file.
It is possible to create different groups of shortcuts on different panels. The panels can be named individually. The number of applications / files is fully user customizable. If an application is needed often it can be added as a new shortcut. An application of file can be dropped on the SCB panel and the new shortcut instantly is available without any additional action. Is an application is not needed anymore it can be deleted with a very few mouse clicks.
To switch between different panels only one mouse click is needed. There is no limitation of panels as long as the screen is big enough.
The SCB window may be docked on an edge of the screen or used undocked. If the SCB window is undocked it is also possible to use the default floating window or a smaller sized window with all shortcuts.

The Shortcut Control Bar is docked on the right position of the screen. The application may be docked on each screen edge on each screen. The Shortcut Control Bar is docked on the top position of the screen. The application may be docked on each screen edge on each screen. The Shortcut Control Bar may also be used undocked. The application may be placed on any screen on any location. The Shortcut Control Bar may also be used as an undocked 'mini window'. This 'mini window' may be placed on any screen on any location. The orientation may be horizontal or vertical.

The Shortcut Control Bar (SCB) application has several different context menues, depending on the position were the context menu is opened. If the mouse is clicked over the application icon the main menu will open with a large bunch of options. Additionally there are context menues if the left mouse button is clicked over the panel button, the panel background and the shortcut buttons.
With this context menu several options can be accessed quite fast withour using the settings dialog that has even more options.

The Shortcut Control Bar can be easyly configured using the context menues. The main configuration menu can be reached if the menu is opened if the mouse is over the caption appliction icon. The Panels can be displayed of hidden if the context menu is used over the panel background. It is also possible to access the main configuration. If the context menu is used over a panel shortcut button than the particular button may be renamed, hidden, or the panel will be activated. The shortcut button may be renamed, hidden or properties of the button may be displayed if the context menu of the shortcut buttons is used.

The application is also completely configurable. Almost everything can be changed and adjusted.
It is possible to change the panel colors. Also panels may be added, renamed, hidden or removed. The same options are also possible with the shortcut buttons. The undocked application window may be used as larger floating window or as 'mini window'. The mouse 'drag and dock' option may be enabled or disabled.
